Occupational Therapist

Tasneem received a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from the University of Western Ontario in 2001 and a Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto in 2003.

 
Tasneem is a registered Occupational Therapist who has been working as a community-based Occupational Therapist for the past six years, providing occupational therapy services to children in various community settings (school, home and clinic) within the Greater Toronto Area. Tasneem specializes in enhancing and promoting healthy physical, social and emotional development in children with and without disabilities.  In particular, Tasneem focuses on improving fine/gross motor skills and sensory processing in children.  On a daily basis, she provides Occupational Therapy intervention and consultation to children with a wide variety of diagnoses including mild to severe fine/gross motor difficulties, developmental delay, autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, anxiety disorders and Down’s syndrome.

Valerie Wilson

Valerie received a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from McMaster University and a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Toronto.

As a community-based Occupational Therapist, Valerie has worked with children with a variety of developmental, fine motor, and sensory-related challenges. Valerie has worked with children who have Autism/ Asperger’s Syndrome, visual motor integration and motor coordination challenges, mild to severe brain injury, fine and gross motor deficits, developmental delays, and sensory integration challenges. Valerie also has experience with implementing handwriting and typing programs in school and community settings. Valerie strives to work with children and their families to set and achieve treatment goals that will enhance the child’s daily performance in meaningful daily occupations; such as school-related tasks, self-care, and play.

Tricia Iordanis

Occupational Therapist

Tricia  Iordanis graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a
Master of Science degree in Occupational Therapy following an undergraduate
Bachelor of Health Sciences degree.

Tricia has been employed as a Pediatric Based Occupational Therapist since graduating approximately 6 years ago. Her cliental has ranged from ages from 4-18 and her role as an OT in this specific area commonly deals with fine motor skill concerns, accessibility
issues, sensory sensitiveness and safety concerns within the school and
home environment. Tricia has mastered how to administer various assessments
that evaluate developmental milestones, motor delays and visual perceptual
difficulties and has had the privilege to utilize NeuroDevelopmental
Treatment (NDT) Techniques on various clients.
